Homeschooled Daughter Needs High-School Diploma
Question: My 16-year-old daughter has difficulty going to school. Her anxiety problems started about a year and a half ago, and we've been to many doctors, both medical and psychiatric. I'd be grateful if you can let me know of any programs that she might be able to use to get her high-school diploma. We are a military family, and I need a homeschool program that we can move around with.
Answer: There are many high-school degree programs available to homeschooled teens. Clonlara School has an excellent reputation and issues a high-school diploma. Oak Meadow School is another good choice. Cafi Cohen's book, Homeschooling: The Teen Years has a wealth of information on alternative education choices for your daughter.
