Your Child, 0-6

Children reading together

Dear Parents,

Reading doesn't come naturally to kids. Find out what you can do to get your child on the road to reading -- it's never too early to start! Use our valuable reading tools, printables, and games to help you on your way.

Activities are a great way to entertain and educate your small children. You can even involve your child in the choice of activity. Maybe he'll want to go outside and learn to attract butterflies, or stay indoors and plan a caveman's meal.

October is a great time to take your family out foraging for beautiful fall foliage. When you return home, you can put those leaves to use. Also in this issue: how to make Halloween safe and fun, not fearful.
