Children reading together

Dear Parents,

Puzzles and games are a great way for kids to learn and have fun during the summer. Give your kids printable word puzzles and ways to make homemade games, and find out just why puzzles and games are so important to growing minds.

Amusement parks are a prime destination for families during summer months. Before you go, make sure your family brushes up on amusement park safety, including how to prevent motion sickness and how to make sure everyone sticks together.

If a vacation isn't in the cards for your family this summer, consider taking a day trip. Day trips are cheaper and more convenient than regular vacations, and almost anywhere in the country you can find historic places and parks like the Freedom Trail, Golden Gate Park, the Grand Canyon, and much more.
