Learn from Your Heroes

The people you most admire can shed light on your core values and the kind of person you aspire to be. If you feel a bit "underwhelmed" with your life, it might be because you have lost sight of the person you have always intended to be. See what your heroes have to say about you.

  • When you were young you probably dreamed of being someone you thought was great: a doctor, your mom, Superman, a teacher? Today, who is on your short list of "most admired" — dead or alive?
  • Pick one of your heroes and jot down three adjectives that describe that person.
  • However you answered, you probably uncovered three traits that you would really like to develop (or honor) more in yourself. What action can you take today that would reflect one or more of those traits? Start being more of the person you aspire to be!
When you are being the person you aspire to be, you are fulfilling your personal destiny.
