Watch for Miracles

Feeling down, we often forget to look up. Then the more we ignore wonders large and small, the lower we feel. And yet, it is nearly impossible to catch a glimpse of a newborn child, a goldfinch feeding on thistle, or a bright red sun in the sky and not feel part of something magnificent.

  • What miracles of nature have you witnessed already today? A sunrise, a bird in flight, or leaves turning crimson?
  • What miracles of the heart have you observed? Someone forgiving you, a helping hand from a friend, or kindness from a stranger?
  • What miracles of health have you seen recently? A spontaneous remission of a disease, a speedy recovery after an injury, or a newfound strength?
What "miracle" would you like to see next in your life? Believe it. Watch for it.
