Make-Believe Restaurant

By practicing being a waiter and a customer, your preschooler can learn about eating at a restaurant.

Make-Believe Restaurant


Materials

  • Tablecloth or other linens
  • Vase with flowers or other centerpiece
  • Candle (optional)
  • Menu

Directions

  1. Use table linens, flowers (real or other) in a vase, and a candle.
  2. Take the customer's coat, show him to his seat, give him a menu, and let him order lunch or dinner.
  3. Take turns being the waiter and the customer.
