Stone Paperweight
This paperweight is easy for toddlers to make and a great Christmas gift for someone special.
Materials
- Large, smooth stone
- Tempera paint
- Paintbrush
- Shellac
- Glitter (optional)
Directions
- Go on a walk with your toddler and look for a large, smooth stone.
- At home, have your child paint the stone in his favorite colors.
- When dry, brush with shellac for a shiny finish. If you like, sprinkle glitter on the shellac before it dries.
