Intuitive Parent-Sensing Child

Intuitive parents resist focusing on the practicalities of day-to-day living, causing some Sensing children to feel ungrounded and wonder who or what they can count on. Intuitive parents may discount a Sensing child's need for concrete, specific information. When a Sensing child asks what's for dinner, and the Intuitive mother says she hasn't come up with an idea, the child may feel shaky and insecure.

On the positive side, Sensing children often say they appreciate an Intuitive parent's imagination, particularly when they need help with school assignments that require originality and creativity.
