Car Seat and Booster Seat Safety for Kids
Each year in America, there are over six million car accidents. The vast majority of them are not fatal, but in nearly every case, injuries are minimized when safety restraints are properly utilized. That's why it's important to make car safety a priority for your kids, especially when they are young enough to require a car seat or booster seat.

The American Association of Pediatrics (AAP) recommends using a rear-facing, infant-only car seat until your child reaches the weight limit for the particular model (22-30 pounds). You can also purchase convertible car seats, which can be switched to face forward and adapted to a growing child's size. When your child reaches the height and weight maximum for your convertible seat, it's time to move him into a booster seat.
