Spring means a change of clothing – no more turtlenecks, heavy sweaters, boots, and wool coats. Remove all winter clothing from your closets and drawers for washing or sending to the dry cleaner. If there are items that haven't been worn for over a year, consider donating them.

Once the winter clothes are clean, store them properly to prevent moth damage. Airtight plastic bags work well, but it doesn't hurt to add moth crystals, lavender sachets, cedar blocks, or similar moth deterrents.
