During a promotion at Dunkin' Donuts, which ran from September through October 2007, the chain gave away glow sticks with purchases of donuts. It has since been determined that the glow sticks pose strangulation and choking dangers to children. The company is offering a free donut to parents who return a glow stick to their local store.
