The Consumer Products Safety Commission, in cooperation with Graco Children's Products, Inc., has recalled about 1.2 million high chairs after receiving over 450 complaints that the screws in the front legs can loosen and fall out, and the plastic brackets in the hind legs can crack. This causes the high chair to become unstable and can cause it to tip over unexpectedly, creating a fall hazard to the child.
The recall includes all Harmony High Chairs. The chairs were manufactured between November 2003 through December 2009. The model number can be found on the label located on the underside of the foot rest.
Parents are urged to stop using these high chairs immediately, unless otherwise instructed. Additionally, visit the CPSC's Stroller Information Center for more information.
