The Consumer Product Safety Commission and Graco Children's Products Inc. have announced a recall of over 1.5 million strollers in the U.S. and Canada after receiving reports that five children have had their fingers severed by the folding hinge mechanism. Parents are urged to use caution when using any stroller with a hinge mechanism found on many collapsing/folding models.
The recall includes all Graco strollers made in China between October 2004 and February 2008. Parents are advised to stop using the strollers and contact the company at www.gracobaby.com to receive a free repair kit.
Additionally, visit the CPSC's Stroller Information Center for more information.
