Gas Prices and New Cars

Recent concerns about the high cost of gas have led some people to switch over to hybrid cars, which use both gas and electricity. The cost of these vehicles is high but their low emissions make them better for the environment.

Will the steady increase in gas prices encourage you to buy a hybrid vehicle for your next car purchase?

2%  Yes. In fact, I already own a hybrid vehicle and would never go back.
15%  Yes, the higher cost of a hybrid sedan is offset by the fact that less gas is consumed.
49%  Maybe. I'm interested in purchasing a hybrid car, but I'm not sure if I can afford it or if I can adjust to the new technology.
34%  No. They're way too expensive! Besides, I love my SUV.
