Age group for which this tool is beneficial:
Middle School
High School & Beyond

To what category does this tool belong?
No-tech tools (no power supply necessary)

Skills strengthened with the help of this tool:
Both organizational and academic

How does the tool work?
Most year-at-a-glance calendars separate months. The most effective, however, are continuous flow, for example, with Thursday, June 1, following on the same line from Wednesday, May 31 and so forth. In these calendars, the months scrunch together just as they do in life and make a more forceful visual representation of just how close the 20th of February is to the 2nd of March.

What is the benefit to the user?
Year-at-a-glance calendars can be highly effective for kids with time-management difficulties.

Other information to consider:
Continuous flow calendars are hard to find.
