Pie Dough
Butter or Margerine (softened)
Sugar
Cinnamon
Directions:
Roll pie dough out very thin.
Spread butter on dough.
Top with cinnamon and sugar.
Roll it up, slice off 1 inch pieces, and place the pieces cut side up (like tiny cinnamon rolls) in a baking dish.
Bake at 375 degrees for about 15 minutes (till crust is golden, but not burned).
Let them cool slightly...they're best served warm.

My mother made these with me using extra pie dough. We called them bellybuttons. I've seen them in a bakery with a different name, but I can't remember what they were called.
It's a great way to use up extra dough...and they're a tasty snack.
We never used a recipe when making bellybuttons...you can experiment with the amounts of sugar, cinnamon and butter...to suit your taste.
