20 minutes to make. 25 to 30 minutes to cook.

Number of servings:
20 to 30 cookies

Ingredients: (Hit your return key to start a new line)
1 cup butter or margarine
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
pinch salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 1/3 cup flour
1 cup gumdrops, cut fine
1/2 cup walnuts (optional)

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350.

Cream butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla. Combine salt, baking soda and flour and add to creamed mixture. Add gumdrops and walnuts. Then spread mixture into a greased 9 by 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes. Cut into squares.
