pre-teen to teen

Description of technique:
I have been very careful to not dress or behave in a sexualized way since having a child. Many mothers I see are still into their own need to be seen as sexy, so their kids grow up thinking that's how women should look or even feeling the need to compete with their mom (or maybe the mom is threatened by her daughter's entering the sexual arena). Work on valuing yourself for your inner qualities and for your achievements and talents rather than your appearance. You are your daughter's first and most potent role model.
