Description:
Washington, D.C. has to be one of the best trips a family can take together. No doubt, there is a museum in D.C. to accommodate every family member's interest and most are free.
On Sundays the Corcoran Museum of Art offers free family programs. You can see the original Declaration of Independence and find your roots at the National Archives.
Flying enthusiasts won't want to miss The Smithsonian's National Air & Space Museum. Kids of all ages will enjoy the Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History's Insect Zoo. And you can see the works of Van Gogh and many more artists at the National Gallery of Art.
There's no place like home unless it's the Museum of American History, which features Dorothy's ruby slippers. Watch and be amazed as money is made at the Bureau of Engraving & Printing. Hone your detective skills and learn high-tech, crime-solving techniques from the F.B.I.
