Description:
The San Diego Zoo is an exceptional place to take your family. We got there before the scheduled opening time (they allow you to go in earlier) and got to watch the zookeepers and animals interact for morning wakeups, etc. There is so much to see and activities to keep the kids interested and excited. We can't wait to go back.

Other comment or suggestions:
Wear good walking shoes and pace yourself. Some hills are steep, but there are escalators for easy access when your legs are tired! Don't try to rush through it. There are many things you will see later in the day that you missed earlier in the day, even when you thought you had seen it all.
