3 Star Technique Rating

Expert/company advocating this approach (if applicable):
Lee-Bee Products

Description of method:
This companyÆs product materials combine a midstream approach to toilet training, incorporating ôreadiness tipsö and the flexible approach of Brazelton, with the visual aid of child-friendly charts and stickers. Lee-Bee markets colorful durable charts with stickers that cling to your refrigerator. Placing a completed sticker in the appropriate place on the chart as a child masters each incremental skill provides positive motivation and visual re-enforcement of potty behaviors. Lee-Bee argues that earning and placing stickers gives a child self-esteem and places control of the process in the childÆs hands.

Recommended age for this method:
Two and up

How long should it take for child to be potty trained by this method?
