Description of safety strategy:
The March Of Dimes is supporting a bill that is essential to kids' health safety. In our old state, MS House Bill 199 expands the School Nurse Program requiring one nurse per 100 teachers. We are trying to promote this same legislature in Illinois. Can you believe in my son's school we have one nurse for over 1000 kids. School Boards don't want to hire a nurse, it costs money.
