Peanut Butter

Children under the age of two shouldn't be given peanut butter or any other sort of nut products. Introducing children to nuts at an early age may cause allergies, and sticky substances like nut butters are difficult to swallow. If you have a history of food allergies in your family, postpone feeding nut products to your child until the age of three.
